“Evan is about as honky-tonk as it gets. He delivers classic country songs in a way that makes the style sound exciting and new…this ain’t costume-country. Wind him up and watch him go!” Scott Davis, (Producer)

“On ballads like the beautiful 'Billie,' Evan Wallace’s voice is as pure and pleasant as a mountain spring, but don't get fooled into thinking he can't shift into honky-tonk hick-dickin' with the shrewdest of ‘em." Mike Seely, (former editor-in-chief of Seattle Weekly and the author of "Seattle’s Best Dive Bars: Drinking & Diving in the Emerald City.”)

Evan Wallace is an exciting up-and-coming country artist lighting up stages and dance floors with catchy hooks and old-school honky tonk energy. In his songs you’ll hear influences ranging from the timeless records of Nashville’s heyday to the gritty outlaw country of his native Texas to the raucous country music of the West Coast where he now calls home.

Originally from Nacogdoches, Texas—the oldest town in the Lone Star State—Evan’s country roots run deep. You hear those roots in every neon-hued lyric of his debut album, Wishing On A Lone Star—slated for release in late summer 2026. This record of all original songs is a series of true stories and tall tales distilled into pure honky tonk energy. These are snapshots of love, laughter, heartache, and questionable decisions… all set to a Texas two step.

Wishing On A Lone Star was recorded over three days in Austin, Texas with producer Scott Davis (Hayes Carll, Jamie Lin Wilson), Grammy Award-winning mixing engineer Steve Christensen (Khrungbin, Steve Earle), and tracked live with a murderer’s row of Austin’s best musicians.
